Rabbi Walter Isaac, PhD is President of the Afro-Jewish Studies Association and the former Director of Jewish Outreach at the Center for Afro-Jewish Studies. As a rabbi, he has served and lived among economically underprivileged Hebrew-Israelite communities in urban areas. The author of many articles and monographs on Afro-Judaism, he is currently on faculty at Claflin University.
