Tuesday Helper duties:
• Pick up bagels from the Coop around 2:45 pm.
• Set up tables, chairs, board games, and playground games in the sanctuary so that everything is ready when students start showing up at 3:15 pm.
• Set out bagels, cream cheese, butter, capers, and pitchers of water. Ask Chris to buy more of the toppings if we need them.
• Set out butcher paper (table cloth), bagel cutter, toasters, plates, knives, glasses, and dishwasher rack for dirty dishes.
• Welcome students (and sometimes parents) and supervise during bagel time, from 3:15 – 4 pm.
• Let the students know when they may have seconds and when it’s time to clean up and go to classes at 4 pm.
• Wash the dishes, glasses, pitchers, knives, and bagel cutter
• Pack leftover bagels into ziplock bags and put in the KHE freezer, put away toppings.
Timing: approximately 2:45 pm to 4:15 pm (90 minutes)
Qualities needed: organized, patient, can work independently, enjoys and has experience working with K-8th grade children.
Helpful: having a car or bicycle to get the bagels from Coop to Roth.
